Frequently asked questions
Which design services does a new company need?
The order is almost always the same: a logo, then a core visual identity with colours and typography, followed by business materials. Further design services are added according to the industry – packaging and labels in manufacturing, menus and signage in hospitality, catalogues and trade fair materials in retail.
How much does logo design cost?
Prices range from around a hundred euros for a simple solution to several thousand for a logo with a fully developed identity. The difference lies in the number of concepts presented, the depth of market research and the formats you receive. A logo made without a vector version will have to be redone sooner or later anyway.
What is the difference between a logo and a visual identity?
A logo is a single element; a visual identity is the system of rules around it. The identity defines colours, typography, layout and how it is applied to every material. Without those rules, each new flyer or post looks as if it belonged to a different company, and recognition is never built.
Which logo format do I need for print?
Print requires a vector format, most often AI, EPS or PDF with outlined text. A vector scales without losing quality, from a sticker to a billboard. JPG and PNG are fine for the web, but they fall apart at the printer's. You also need a full-colour, a single-colour and a reversed version.
